Power- domed '87-'91 Bronco Hood

I've got a good idea to upgrade the looks of my 1990 Bronco.I'll be putting a 460 in it,so I decided to do something to the hood to enhance the looks.I thought about adding an aftermarket, fiberglass Cobra Jet-style hoodscoop to it,but then I remembered my old 1967 Fairlane's "power dome" hood, with it's twin reversed scoops on it.The turn signals never worked,but....that hood looked cool!Hmmmm....I could buy a set of power dome scoops from a '67 Fairlane GT hood, and add them to the '90 Bronco's hood.(I don't care if the turn signals in the rear of them work.)I'll probably paint them Regatta Blue to match the color of the hood.I saw a pair on e-bay,but I know I'll get outbid. That's okay,I know where a set is at a junkyard to buy.So this will be my next little project-a power dome Bronco hood. You know,I wish the aftermarket would've offered fiberglass versions of these '67 Fairlane scoops, instead. They'd be:1)cheaper,and 2)easier to find.

After searching for a set,and seeing how expensive they are,I decided to do something different.Somebody told me that Lund offers fiberglass, "Eclipse Hood Scoops" in three different sizes.I'm getting part#80002(medium).The size is 34"x13"x4 3/8".They look really good, plus I won't have to drill any holes in my Bronco's hood to mount these scoops on.I'll probably paint them Regatta Blue to match the hood's factory color.I've got a set of 460 badges I bought while at the All-Ford Nats.in Carlisle. These badges look exactly like the '351','390',&'428' small rectangular badges that were O.E.M. on 1969 Mustang&Torino Cobra Jet-style hood scoops.I paid $14 for the pair.....considering a few aftermarket suppliers want $20-$30 a set for these,I figure I got a bargain.
