Seat foam and vinyl replacement?

Seat foam and vinyl replacement?
I've seen plenty of affordable vinyl reupolstery kits for the older (82) Ford bench seats. However, I really need new foam, as mine is quite old and rather stinky.
Any clue where to buy such a thing? I'd really rather not pay the $$$ for an entirely new seat, and just about anything at the junkyard will be equally stinky.
Help?
Thanks,
KT

Seat foam and vinyl replacement?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-Sep-02 AT 08:27 AM (EST)]I just got a catalog from a place called Acme truck, or something like that. They had seat foam and upholstery kits. I think the complete foam set was about $169. I'm at work and can't remember the full name. I'll get it later and let you know. I'd imagine there are several other suppliers too. Good luck,

Please don't think I'm whining, but...
You know, I fully understand and support replacing the URL for LMC with the motorhaven URL because motorhaven supports this site, but in this case motorhaven doesn't have the items in question.
I almost never find what I need at motorhaven because I have a 1982. I keep hitting the 'next page' button hoping that I'll find something for my year, but everything seems to stop around 77 or 79.
Maybe I should change trucks?
Seriously though, does anyone know if LMC has been approached concerning sponsorship? They might be up for it.

KT - first off, welcome to FTE.
Second, I got all the foam and supplies I needed from a local Auto Upholstery shop. I just walked in, told him what I was wanting to do and that I wanted to do it myself. The guy even gave me some pointers.
It wouldn't hurt to get the How to book on FTE's online store. You wouldn't believe how often you'll want to refer to it. Kit's come with instructions, but don't give all the extra little pointers.
I'm recovering our bucket seats from scratch by using the old material as a pattern. I have a before and after photo of the one I finished in my gallery.
Good luck with your project and watch those hog rings.

I'll call around about the foam, thanks for the tip! Also, that book would probably be a really good investment, so I'll go ahead and order it today.
Funny, I had already browsed your gallery last night and noticed your seat work. It looked really great, especially for your first try. I hope mine comes out looking half as good.
Of course, my truck does not look half as good, so the seat would stand out...
