Great information Guys. I bought my 2011 XLT out of town and realized when I got home I did not have the plastic code card with the owners manual. Called the dealer and he gave me to code over the phone and then mailed me the plastic card. He apologized for forgetting to give it to me. He said they take the cards out of the vehicles to keep people from stealing them.
Just bought a 2012 Navigator and this worked like a charm. I tried to use a mirror to look without unbolting the box, but I just couldn't make out the numbers. Gotta undo the one bolt, but worked like a charm.
I tried to call ford to get the code with my vin number and they waned me to go to dealer who wanted to charge me 60 bucks to get the code out of the computer.
I was going to take it to the dealer, but before I got a chance by wife locked the keys in the car. To make matters worse, my son was strapped in the car seat.
The next day, my brother in law found this for me.
Worked like a charm.
Jeez, you left your son locked in the car for a day just to save $60?
Hi, I have a 2005 F150 and im trying to get the code to reset the keyless entry, I looked behind the fuse bx on passenger side and there is no sticker it looks like they took the sticker out.
