i have a 65 ford f-100 and want to remove the gas tank from behind the seat. has any one done this? and if so what have you used for a tank and where did you put it? photos are always nice to look at.

Dozen's of folks have done this. Suggest you use the "search" function to find out what others have done. Do some reading then ask specific questions of those who've done it.
The topic has come up on number of occasions, here's the most resent link from couple days ago: Mu experience has been that if you have any questions majority of the membership have not problem emailing if there are any questions.
As suggested, there should be lots of info, if run a search and narrow field to the 61-66 forum.
