Congrats! That's a beauty but 2nd place? What did it lose to?
A Dodge
It was a early 90s Dodge with a Cummins that looked like it had crashed into the bling section of the auto parts store. Huge, ridiculous looking chrome stacks and running lights everywhere.
We call her Frank,
Started out as a 1980 regular cab long box, the cab came from an 86 1 ton, last time I thought about it there was parts from 8 trucks on it and I am rebuilding a 351 windsor out of a 78 e-150 right now.

Apple i-Phone picture?
My own 1981 F350 is ending up to be the same way, a collage of many donors.
Mine is also a donor collection. It had a '90s box and tailgate from PO. I scrounged parts from several uncles' spare parts, including rear bumper, mirrors, sun visor, grille and light bezels, sliding RW, instr. cluster and wood trim, door panels, etc. The tailgate with trim with zero rust were $5 at a yard sale. The front bumperettes were NOS in the box for $10 at another yard sale. Wheels were $200 from a '92 F350. They were a disaster. It took two days of stripping, grinding, and polishing, but worth it in the end. The tires are 285/75 - 16. All four were bought from different ads on Kijiji for $100 total. Lots of fun tho'.
I agree, the bullnose bed is the way to go, but the bricknose tailgate access Panel is great! All it would take is a patch panel for the rear fenders and swapping taillights. I wouldn't mind making an access panel mod for my 86 tailgate
