Dumb electrical question, pleaes help
I am putting an overhead DVD player in my 2005 F250 crew cab.
My questions are:
1) Should I use the black as the ground wire or just screw it into the cab metal
2) which one of the two wires would be for the door light (I know, try one and if it doesn't work, try the other)
3) Are any of the wires coming off of the 3 wire adapter into the old dome light suitable as an accessory power switch
Honestly, your help would be greatly appreciated. I've got it all wired up, except it will run without the key in, so rather than tear it all down to experiment, I will wait for a day to see if anyone already knows the answer.
