2008 6.4 Blew Coolant
08 6.4. 205,000 miles. Deleted. MBRP Up Pipes. H&S Mini Max. AFE Intake.
Alright. So I got the truck back on Wednesday from having new Up Pipes installed along with Mishimoto CAC Boots and some body mounts. Truck drove perfectly fine nothing abnormal about it at all. Fast forward to Saturday.
Pulling into Walmart and notice I am steaming out of the hood. Pop the hood and coolant had blown everywhere. I drove it home(less than 3 miles). Pop the hood to let it cool off some before I pop the Degas cap off. Coolant covered the degas all the way to the intake. And underneath the motor was completely soaked.
Put distilled water in the degas to see what happens. At first it drain completely out. Then finally starts to hold some. Turn the truck on and give it some boost. Now I couldn't tell where exactly it was leaking from. But I can tell that it's dripping to the ground from the pulley area.
Any ideas? Hopefully it's not a head gasket, I just threw $2500 at it last week. Thank you.
