Getting my F550 Lariat tow truck ready for show.

I'm getting my 09 F550 ready for the Illinois tow show. Here is some pictures of the inside. Got a matching dash kit, chrome fire extinguisher, and added a blue accent light under the dash. I hid the GPS power cord too, it now plugs in under the dash. More pics soon.

That rocks,A 2 ton Lariat With the V10! You should join in the PSD vs V10 debate.
Is it 3V like on the pick ups or 2V like on the RV chassis?
How long did it take to clean it like that?

My F550 weighs 13,500 empty. Most of the people on that debate all stray from the topic, so I don't want to participate. It is a 3V. The funny this is I really didn't even clean it good yet, I still have a few more days of work to go before that. I just wiped it down, and installed a few accessories. Here is a picture of it working.

I know how much it weighs, I meant 2 ton as in, the old system of truck sizing.
as in, F150 = 1/2 ton F250 = 3/4 F350 = 1ton F450 = 1 1/2 ton F550 = 2 ton F650 = 2 1/2 ton.
Yes, that thread does wonder around a lot.
That is a beautiful truck!
What brand bed and tow boom?
What is the emblem on the door?

I understood what you meant, I gave the empty weight so you can see that my truck weighs as much as 2 average V10 Super Duty's. And, yes I special ordered it with the V10. The bed is a Century EB4 Express self loader. Stainless body, 12 ton boom, with 2 12,000# winches. The emblem on the door is for my tow company, here is an old close up:

Way too many problems with my last one, I like being able to keep my truck out working, not in the shop. The idea of having my cab removed for any and every repair does not appeal to me. Also, I want to keep it after warranty expires this time.

First time poster here. All I can say is "Wow". I just picked up an '09 F350 CC with the V10. The reply above is about as succinct as you can get for a diesel vs. V10 argument. Makes me happy I went with a V10!

Nice! Where did you get the matching woodgrain trim for the side pods on the dash?
