I just got my Brians truck Shop transmission and I can not get the old dipstick to fit. The bolt mount is about 3/4 in above where it needs to be to be flush with the trans bolt hole it goes through. When I insert the dipstick into the trans shaft it stops right at the oring part. I put all of my weight on it and still the oring just sits at the lip of the shaft. I even tried shaving down the oring with a dremel. And still it wont go down any further. What do you think is the issue? I have read something about a hybrid E40D and those dipsticks not fitting in the 4r100 but I have a replacement 4r100 from Brian. Any advice would be appriciated.
