The first battery is for the original Ford truck stuff... starter, headlights, wipers, heater, etc.
The second battery is for all the stuff I added on..fuel pump, ignition, electric fans, air compressor, four wheel drive air solenoid...air horns, KC lights, etc.
The third battery runs the rear wheel steering. That's all it does.
The truck has a 100 amp alternator that charges all three batteries at once using the isolator in the battery box, and the breakers are there for safety.

Well, the isolator is a 120 amp model...but they didn't make a 140 amp at the time, so I was stuck with using a 100 amp alternator. Someday I will have to go through my
battery box and maybe then I can change things... but most Monster Trucks don't use alternators, and like them, I find I have to frequently charge my batteries with a battery charger. I got in my truck the other day to take it for a little drive, and OH NOES!! The ignition battery was too low to drive on... so I had to give up my afternoon drive and spend the rest of the day charging it.
OH WELL!

The control arms were painted and bolted into place..

... meanwhile, I had new and better graphics made for the truck, vinyl graphics, which
were a new thing at the time..

.. and after installing a new 22 gallon fuel cell...

... I was finally able to drive the truck again!!!

My only question is: How much money do you have invested in this thing? Either you're in debt up past your eyeballs or you're making some damn good money somewhere lol...

Monster trucks use small tires when they are being trailered or stored/worked on.
I had a concrete door to go through, and I had to use the smallest tire/wheel combo
possible.

I bought the original truck with a loan and quickly paid it off... all the rest of the work
was paid in cash. I lived at home rent free and had a decent job, and threw all my
paychecks into the truck.
