Tina...as you are prob already close to Norfolk, looks like you may only hit one or two small showers.... and nice on the way back... if you don't have some pop-ups than I can't see right now!
BTW, I have the 4.6 in my '97 Lincoln and have NEVER had a plug spit out...just have to be real careful removing and replacing them. Squirt them the first time removing with some PB Blaster a day before you pull 'em and you should be ok. Heads are aluminum and of course the plugs are steel, so there may be the chance of corrosion if they have been in there a LONG time!
If you are getting an intermittent CEL, have the codes read. Auto Zone will do it for free... report back and we can prob help you as to what the prob may be!
