morning guys, semi's are coming in after dinner so gotta move a few of my trucks, hate to have one hit my toys, picked up a old maytag single engine sat. at a sale ,got it to pop a few times,be a good afternoon project,hardly anyone was buying at the sale so i ended up w/two truckloads of stuff and had to buy a trailer to haul the rest of the stuff,all in all i had fun

 

Hey all, back home again. Kidlets started school today, seem to be doing ok.

I'm way behind at work since I missed 3 days... Probably won't be around much.

Hey Randy, Jack... No word on the car yet. Mom wants it fixed since we can't get the exact same one. The 2010 Stangs have changed. Can't get the same color and she really liked the 45th anniv badges.

Mom is still recovering, slowly getting over it.

Rob, the reason I asked about the truck is because there was a truck that Joe has done a ton of work to in the last month and he hates this truck cause it has no brakes and the owner refuses to have them fixed (leaky wheel cylinder), its a f350, white, dually and the guy hauls horses!! Joe has tried to convince him that he needs the brakes fixed but has refused every time saying that they are fine and, "you just gotta pump the brake!"............when I saw your story about a truck hauling a horse trailer ran a stop, destroying your moms car, I thought about the one that Joe worked on and figured there is a chance it could be the same and if so, we got your back!!!lolol But, the one Joe worked on was a '92, not a '99.................so there you go!!!lolol

evening all.. how is everyone doing? football game on!

 

Howdy guys... had some heavy rain/storms come through about midnight, screwed up my sleep, that's for sure! If you hear a thud, that's my head hitting the desk.

Talked to dad last night. He was at the body shop checking on the car yesterday, the engine and tranny are shot and the shop says 14 grand just for that. Car has a book value of $24K, not looking good on fixing it.

We're searching everywhere for a comparable 'stang. There are some out there, none local to them or me, but we'll find something. Can't wait to hear what the insurance offers, if it's anything less than full replacement value, we'll be hiring an attorney and going after the idiot for running the stop sign. Hate the thoughts of doing that, but his actions really messed things up and we're not going to rollover on this one.
