I'm looking to get a 3" Superlift leveling kit for my 2007 f150 2wd regular cab. I live in California and like the look of "Cali Sag." I've read on other threads that people think it looks stupid, but hey, that's your opinion.

My question is, do I have to extend my break lines if I add this 3" level? A buddy of mine said I should be careful because I might have to but isn't sure. Wondering if someone had this problem or if it's nothing I need to worry about. Thanks in advanced.

 

No you should have to do anything to your brakes for the leveling kits of any kind. The kit is designed to just be mounted on without changing anything from the factory.

 

I'm just hoping that the 3" makes the front higher..at least noticeable.

 

Look at my garage that is a 3" kit on the front. I only wish I had put the larger tires on to make it even better but its still really nice.

 

Sweet. Well wouldn't mine be different than yours since you have a 4wd and mines a 2wd?

 

No it shouldn't the trucks are about the same height from the factory to start. Mine might of been a hair higher but not enough to make a difference would be my guess.

 

About what your friend said that you may have to extend brake lines that wouldn't ever happen. The kit is installed on top of the strut just lifting the body of the truck not the suspension itself.

Now a warning for you. I know 3 people including myself who have installed 3" kits and all of us had to install a block or spring in the rear to get the back up even or just above the front end. Now all of teh trucks that I know who have this were 2006's and either Lariat 4x4 or Fx4's so that may make a difference.

 

Well the look I'm goin for is the front of the truck being a little higher than the back aka "Cali Sag." so is it necessary for the rear blocks?

 

Oh I didn't know what the cali sag was so then you should be ok without the rear blocks.

Nice I look forward to seeing pictures of the truck when you are done. I am in teh process of adding some exterior upgrades myself. Hope to have them finished by next week if everything gets here.
