......I posted there first before seeing in line 6 room so I'm asking ppl here to follow there to see if they can help me... don't know if ppl ever leave this area...

I've had problems with belts walking off the pullies when I use cheap Autozone value-brand belts. I switched to quality Gates belts and haven't had problems since. The value-brand belts wouldn't sit in the pullies properly.
Keep in mind, once a belt has walked off a pulley, it's permanently mis-shaped and will never stay on straight again. That is to say, there's no use trying to solve the problem with a belt that has already walked off.
