high performance H2O pump in a 460

i need to replace the water pump in my 1995 E350 BB. i want to use something like the Edelbrock 8866 hi performance pump but their site sez it only works up to 1992. my pump is standard rotation, all the bolt holes seem to line up, haven't been able to confirm the 5.5" flange to pulley flange height yet, but aside from that i am wondering why it doesn't fit my 95?? is it the pulley flange height as the pre 95 were not serpentine? my understanding is that all 429/460 pumps were the same.... meziere is just 10 min away but i don't want to spend double the bucks and have to deal
l with the pulley issues.

anybody got a thought? or a source for the correct hipo pump?

Neil, Let me offer some food for thought. Why do you think you need a HP water pump? I move 20,000# down the road with my 1995 F53 w/460, motorhome. That's about 9 gallons of fuel an hour @ 60+ MPH. Across Kansas on 100º+ day with AC running full blast, up and down mountains to 11,000 ft. Never an over heating problem. All that with the OEM pump.
