Engine swap
I have a 85 f250 with a 460 and a four speed I want to put a small block in what engine will fit? Which engine will fit the current bellhousing? What other options do I have? Will the flywheel and clutch work?

why small block? and ford made 2 bellhousings... small block and the big block... can you guess what the 460 is lol... unless you already have a small block to put in i'd stick with the 460, they're great motors

Also correct, he can use a dizzy from any 335-series engine.
The 400 makes a GREAT truck engine (used for truck purposes of pulling &
hauling), it has the longest stroke of any Ford engine ever made.
Think the distributors are interchangable as well.
