Owls Head Museum Auto Auction
Anyone headed to it this year August 22nd. I try to go every year and look at all the vehicles. I am in no way a buyer... There are a couple of vehicles of FTE interest. A 37 Ford 1.5 ton rack body truck, a 55 F100and a 71 F100. I look at the Triumphs and Porsches and cry when I see them go for less than what I would think they would go for. It's a good time!

Looks like a great time...one of the guys I work with has flown up there a few times.
I believe that the museum owns a prototype Mustang...truly one of a kind...that Ford has been trying to buy back for years. I don't know if it;s on display or not.
I've thought of heading up there...but...it's about a 260 mile drive!!!

oh PUSHAW Ken, 260 miles to see a prototype Mustang? Geezums! oh and they have a cool display of horse carriages, to include an original Gypsy Vardo. Pretty awesome. There is a picture of it on the web site but they don't do it justice. The Mustang is on display but what I think is equally impressive is the 1885 Benz. that is just cool. But my favorite piece is the 1958 BMW Isetta, nicknamed Das Rollende Ei — the rolling egg. That's Wicked cool!
