Yeah my rear bumper is super beefed up since I broke it. Going to add in some other supports to make it better though. I'm sure a side collision could break the mount. So its not that great. But it wont get ripped off from rear again lol. Funny thing about my rear though, I measured and had all measurements good.. then at last minute decided to step up to a thicker metal and it through off my measurements, so it order to get it to attach to truck I had to sledge hammer it a bunch.

I am thinking of doing some reinforcing on my front bumper too. I need to remove it and add a brace for the front step plate thingy.. and i'm going to throw some holes for some shackle kind of things on the front. And I was also considering cutting a hole for some lights to mount in the front bumper. I don't know. I have some plans to make the front bumper better.

Eh hem. Is it done yet?

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pix. My brother's 06 F350, and his buddy's 06 f350, both got stuck, his buddy got stuck while pulling my brother out of the mud.... i think BFG's on my brothers but stockers on his buddys. My 03 f250 pulled them both out together.

I love this van! Its bad a**. I've been keeping my eyes peeled for an older van like this to double as a tow rig and a place to sleep, and ill probly copy your axle upgrades! You use this to haul the wheeler?

YES A VAN!!! Its not like I will see a similar vehicle runnin down the road.... Plus I got it for $75. and built most of it with parts I had layin around.

Bender99

Well, when it was just a 2 wheel drive I used it to pull my car trailer a lot, but after I put the 4 wheel drive it had 3.50s in it, n was a turd, so I have been usin my Dads pickup to haul the wheeler. If its just little stuff like cars I need to haul I've been usin my Crown Vic, with a equalizer hitch. Lol. This past weekend I put 4.10s back in it(well the rear anyways, havnt had time to do the front) so I was thinkin of seein how it pulls again soon.... It only has a tinny 302 in it, I swapped a NP435 into it witch made a huge difference. Only bigger motor that will fit in the dog house without cuttin the hole bigger is a 351W. So that kind sucks.....

but i give him points for originality and effort, it looks cool and i admire the work put into it but i personally think vans in general look funny, they look like pick ups with toppers that got run really fast into a solid wall...i dont know its just not right...like cab over (COE) big trucks, its just not right in my eyes...i hate driving them too

The only time I was happy to see a van was when I crushed it with an excavator.
