Can anyone tell me what flare nuts would have been used to secure cooler lines to an E4OD in a 1996 F150 4x4 with a 4.9L??

This info would be much appreciated

 

I'm assuming the line is 5/16"

 

I had to get mine from the stealership. I can't quite remember if they came from a different year. I have a 95. I'm assuming you are talking about the nuts between the cooler lines into/on the radiator.

 

i'm installing a separate fluid cooler, so i'm mainly interested in knowing what threads in on the e4od tranny for the lines.

i have some standard flare nuts for 5/16", hope they work and that it's not some weird metric stuff i need to source out elsewhere.
