Hi Dan,
What brand shackle kit did you use ? I was just out to the truck place this morning telling them to get me an estimate. I told them I would like to use the GROUND FORCE 2" shackle kit. It has the wedge that goes between the axle and spring.
Did you install yours yourself ?
What model 150 do you have ? I have a n XL. I have had my cargo trailer hooked up and backend is still high.
I think it will make cab entry just a little easier also.
I'd like to see your pics.

Bill

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, I got the Mgauphys 2" lowering shackles and they are great. I drive a XLT Supercrew and I will post pics sometime on Sunday.

I found this kit on Ebay for only 70 bucks. You can go their website www.mcgaughys.com.
They specialize in the GM twins but they do make kits for the Ford's as well.

Looks really good. I prefer the look of it leveled. Looks better then raising the front. Wheel gap is something that I do not like at all. Good Job! And nice truck!

looks great

I just ordered my new 2010 f150 supercrew 4X2 on Monday. My first mod will be to lower the truck to reduce the gap from the fender to the tire. Roush performance parts has 2" drop shackles for $45.00. Has anyone lowered the front of the truck?
