aftermarket trans cooler

I have a 2004 f-150 4.6 without the towpack and i do some hauling and a little towing. I always watch my trans temps on my edge and would like a little extra cooling especially on those hot days. Has anyone mounted one of the aftermarket coolers on their truck? I was thinking of one of the ones with the electric fan. Thanks

fan, temp sensor, solenoid...to complicated. I mean, it would be great but I don't think you'd need it. I'd just splice in any fit-all style cooler that you could get to fit in front of your radiator if you wanted additional cooling. Look at all the heavier trucks that use this simple route.
