oldblu65 is starting off with a positive reputation.
There's two engine temp sensors on the engine . One is on the hose nipple , coming out of the thermostat housing , and it goes to the computer . The second one is on the passenger side of the block at the back . It is under the intake manifold and hard to get to . That is the one that feeds the heat gauge on the dash . Both are engine temp. sensors . The first is a two pin plug and the other is a one pin plug . The one pin is the one that feeds the gauge and is the one you want .
