What is a song that Scott Mc Kenzie came up with, that referenced San Francisco?

 

I want to say it "Are you going to San Francisco"

 

Here's one for you "Popcorn"

 

I remember when he did the song. I was a youngun and actually lived up by Frisco, my dad was stationed up there. We used to play Popcorn when I was in Junior High in the band.

 

First Moog Quartet or Hot Butter...Was it released in 71 or 72.

 

Yes...and the girls wear flowers in their hair.

 

Hot Butter and I can't remember when. How about Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen? And we can not forget our favorite country western singer making his off his daughter.

 

(girls aren't the only ones anymore)......But then, when I used to live down that way, there were times and places that I suppose flowers were fine, because at least they were wearing SOMEthing.

I guess the hippie gene just isn't in me..............but I'm ok with the motorhead/goofball gene instead.
