They still make FL1A-HP oil filters.I remember for my EFI7.5L pickup,the owner's manual stated "For off-road/severe duty, use FL-1HP oil filter".It probably filters better than the FL1A filter,but if I remember correctly,it was the same size.I remember is cost about $3 more for the FL-1HP vs.FL1A filter.

I am not sure what you are trying to acheive with the extra capacity filter, but possibly the standard FL1A would do what you want if you change it more frequently, say at and halfway through each oil change interval. We'd have to razz ya for the Jeep, but it is a straight six, so it's cool.

FIL1773 is the part number for the Napa filter. It is like 8.49 but with the added filter media it is worth it. Oil pressure is like 5 psi greater with this filter
Is to go with an external filter. You can buy these that put two standard filters in parallel. That would give you extra flow and better filtering. All filters work better at lower flow rates.
