Make sure all the little plastic tabs are there for the 3 screws per wheel.

I will also say that I ended up going to Ford for new screws. All the aftermarket replacement screws rust and look bad quickly. They aren't chrome plated like the OEM ones. I looked in quite a few places for stainless ones the same size but couln't find any.

TexasGuy001,
Thanks for the compliment on my truck. I am definitly leaning towards the Black centers instead of the Red ones. I like them a lot better.

These are definitely my favorite wheels for the 80-96 F150 although they were not an option until 92 or 94. I think it was 94.

They look good on yours, cant wait to see it with caps.

I have them on my truck. It originally had the chrome louvered looking ones.

I decided to put the same ones you have on your on mine. I ordered them this morning. I like the black better than the red. Thanks for your help and pics. Nice looking truck you have.

If they are there, replace them. If they aren't....

D7TZ1A100A .. Anchor, Hubcap Screw / Use with Aluminum Wheel.

MSRP: $1.12 // FTE sponsor: y2kfordparts.com price each: $0.80

These plastic anchors that are hand pressed into the wheel used for the screws to hold the hubcaps on...should not be used more than twice.

In other words, if you've had the cap off for any reason...after the second time...those anchors are next to worthless.

Sooner or later...usually sooner, when you turn a corner, the anchors pop oughtta the wheel taking the cap along with it.

btw: The OP has another thread on this topic in another forum, and said he thought the wheels he has are 1990/96's.

The parts catalog doesn't list the hubcaps with the BLACK center after 1989.

The hubcap used on the 1990/96's have a RED center and are MSRP: $105.30 EACH!

Thats weird, most of the 94-96 trucks I see have the black centers even when they were new.

I agree about the little plastic screw retainers. After you use them a few times they kinda get worn out.

I think the dealer is the only place you can get them from. I'm surprised that NPD LMC etc don't have them.
