Throttle Body / Acclerator Linkage Cover

I am looking for a new black plastic cover that sits on top of the throttle body.

The part number is E9TA-9E766-AA.

I have tried to look it up on FTE Parts Guy and Direct Ford Parts. It comes back with no results found.

Does anyone know where I can get this or is it obsolete?

This may sound crazy, but have you tried craigslist? Maybe someone is parting a 95 out and may have one. By the way, if you look in my gallery you'll see that me and you have the exact same truck except yours looks better. Also, try the classifieds in the paper. Matter of fact, I'll check with my neighbor, he's got a 92 F-150 with the 6 in it that he's not using, but I'm not sure that one will fit yours or not.

I haven't seen you on the forum in a while? I remember your truck with the cooper cobras on it. It looks great. I hardly ever see trucks with our paint scheme and color.

Its got to be one for 5.0 or 5.8. I was hoping to find a new one that wasn't all scuffed up etc.

Yeah, I've been on the road, trying to move some freight. I've been asking alot of questions on my truck about the problems it's having. Changed all the sensors out only to find out it's the PCM that's bad. Just ordered a new one

How much was your PCM? Is your transmission code U for 4R70W? If so then we have exactly the same truck.

The PCM was 215 at O'reilly's auto, they price matched autozone. My PCM part no., if it' the same as your is F4TF-12A650-BBC and say's Bug2 at the top. The internet say's it came from a 95 Bronco. My trans code is either an S, N, or A. it's a 14 bolt pattern, but the 4R70W is the same shape only slightly larger than the AOD/AOT trans. I don't think my rear gear is 3.55, it feels more like a 3.08. The tag is off the pumpkin and I don't have a tach on it or I could tell buy the RPM's. I just really hope it's not a 2.73 which I doubt would be in it, but would explain the great fuel econmy I've been getting.

Hey, just thought of something, but may require a little polishing. If you were to get an old cover you could sand it down and smooth it out and put some high temp black paint on it. Just a thought

I doubt you have 2.73 gears. I think it was only in the light duty 5 speed trucks.

What kind of fuel economy are you getting? I get about 17-18 mix.

My truck originally came with 3.08.

If you want a tach just find a cluster from a 94 95 and swap it in. Its plug and play. I actually have a 94 Lightning cluster in mine.

It looks bad and took it off to clean it up and then put it back on and it cracked.

Yeah, believe it or not I'm getting around 19 mpg before the PCM went out. I try to keep my foot out of it, but get on it when I need to. I'll have to look into the tach cluster. You know as well as I do at 65-70mph there's only about a 400 rpm difference between the 3.55 and the 2.73 and I think it's only 300rpm difference with a 3.08. The take off is a whole different story. Which as soon as the funds come available I'm planning on putting in 3.55".

How many miles on your odometer? Mine has 270,000.

I'm hoping that after the exhaust leak is fixed I'll be able to get 19.

If you swap to 3.55 gears get a LS traction lock too. Its so much better than one wheel wonder.
