Just one last question about leafsprings
I have a set of front springs and I am not sure how they go in. The bolt that holds the pack together is OFF CENTER so will the shorter side go to the front of the truck or will the longer side go to the front of the truck. I would rely hate to get all things together to find my axel is off center.

Tuff country. While looking for some back springs I came across a diagram that shows the dimensions for a stock spring and I noticed the bolt is not in the center. I went out to the garage and checked the tuff country's and sure enough the bolt is off center. I have IFS now so I don't know what way to put the springs in. I am sure I can figure things out but the springs and Axel are some heavy mothers so I would like to get things right the first time.

Do you still have the 2" blocks in the rear? If so, a cheap & easy way to raise the rear would be to swap for some 4" f350 blocks.

I just use the site for reference. I have a spring shop that I've gone to since the seventies. I get the u-bolts from them. They are very expensive. The spring prices are about the same here. A good spring shop will give you better that factory quality. With new springs all around and poly bushings and new shocks the ride has improved dramatically. My rears were all hosed up from the Velvet ride shackles the PO had. It was cheaper and simpler just replace everything in one shot for me. No experience with the dual wheel rigs. My reference to the spring I used was only for my application. Find a local truck spring shop to talk to before you go any further.
