I have been looking at tires for my chevy 2500 and I am probably going to get 33x12.50x?(15 probably) but it seems damn near impossible to find rims with 8 lug that is 15x10 or 16x10. In width in the rim the lowest I believe I can go is 8.5. I would like to get 33x12.50x15, because there seems to be a wider range of selection over 33x12.50x16 or 16.5. So any help in general? Thanks!
I'm not saying someone doesn't make them, but I have never seen 8 lug 15 in wheels. Stick with 16's there is plenty of tires out there. The metric equivalent is 305/70r16. According to BFG's site, AT's in that size would measure 33x12.2 on a 9 inch rim. Plus most tires in this size will still be rated heavy enough to tow or carry a decent load if you have to.
And that there folks is why I don't speak in absolutes. So until now I have never seen 8 lug 15 in wheels, and I' still have never seen them in person...
