FICM TEST PROCEDURE ???
Sorry guy's I know i'm really picking your brain week LOL. As you all know I been chasing a low power problem for a while. So along with cleaning the turbo over the weekend I decided today to change the fuel filters, and give her a fresh oil change. Yes Motor craft filters and Rotella oil just to rule then out! Still no better. Ok then I figured while im at it I would check the FICM. My question is when following the first step as it says to turn the key to on position does that mean just 1 click of the key before the injector 2nd click buzz? Because I wasn't getting any volt reading at this point. Only got 48v when I buzzed the injectors and 47v while cranking. So im I doing something wrong or is me FICM Bad and the root of my low power problem? I have mentioned before that my engine sounds alot quieter along with this problem. But today it got really bad and sounded really faint. almost as if it wanted to shut off but continued to run all day.
