why does the WIF light keep coming on in this truck while running B100? the fuel that I'm running has been tested to meet ATSM and is dry washed with magnisol. when I go to drain the water all that comes out is biodiesel and no water. thanks for any and all info you guys might have, MAKO314
This happens quit a bit. The water in fuel system works by measuring the resistance between two probes. B-100 has a low resistance and can trigger the light.
My dodge has never had the light come on, but on all 3 of my fords the light will come on.

FYI Thats because the BD molecule (methyl ester) is slightly polar and passes an electrical charge while Petro is totally non polar.
