4WD comes on in 2L?
#17
So i jacked up the front end and the wheels rolled freely in 2wd. No sounds, nothing. Then i put it in 4wd and they locked like usual. SO its not IN 4wd (someone metioned to try this). Steering was still stiff. I fooled around with the 4wd switch a couple times and the steering got slightly easier. So while its still running I unhooked the vaccum lines on the hub. There was suction. Goin crazy. Guess i should look in to switch motor on T case? Just tryin to eliminate one thing at atime...

when you unhooked the vac lines to the iwe u said it had suction, so the soleniod is ok , did you try hooking a hand held vac pump to the iwe's and put pressure on them and see if it holds if it leaks more than dont quote me on this but 5lbs over a minute may be a your prob, just a shot in the dark

Problem w/ Transfer case
I finally got it looked at. A mechanic says it is something in the T-case. Checked motor on case and tried moving it out of 4x4 manually but nothing happen. He thinks the fork that moves the chain in and out of 4x4 is jammed. NOT GOOD. Anyone experience or heard of that??
