Tires Again

I have overlooked the Thread(s) about tire sizes. I would like to know what size larger tires can I use on my factory 2004 Supercrew with 17 inch aluminum wheels. P L E A S E

Is your truck 4x4 or 4x2?

I wouldn't go any bigger than LT265/70R17's on a 2wd. I've got P285/70R17's on my 04 screw 4x4. No rubbing, no problems. The concern is with the front, the rears can go many sizes bigger.

x2 on that

265/70/17 is a 32" tire. You can slightly upsize with a 4x2...but it's best to not.

Rubbage is likely with anything bigger than 32" on the OEM suspension
