HPX wont go on
Hey guys I've been doing some modding today and the last thing I was trying to do was get my HPX installed. Needless to say it won't go on. I have the passenger side on finger tight but the drivers side will not line up. I've been talking to Clay and he isn't really sure what is going on with it either. This thing will not budge. The line is barely touching the nipple and it will not go any more. I took some pictures to post and to email to Clay and I guess my camera is messed up because there are no pictures. To make matters worse, the one of the factory plugs fell off of my truck and vanished. I cannot find it anywhere. I am dead in the water right now guys. Help me out. Thanks in advance.

if its the hard line it is an sob to get on there but make sure you have the 2 npt fittings tightened all the way to the block then loosely put one side on then youre gonna have to kinda bend the other side just a little to get it to seat on the other side then finger tighten to make sure you have the threads on right then finish with the wrench......

You probably don't have one, but that's one reason I bought and keep a magnetic sweep around.
Did the plug hit the ground, or is it on the engine somewhere? If on the engine, I dropped one of mine when I did my install and it landed on the back side of the valley around the turbo, and the only way I could get it was by having my long-armed 16 year old son crawl under the truck and reach up from over the tranny... he got it! Yours may be in the same place.
How soon do you have to have it on the road? If it can sit a couple days, I can mail you one of mine if I can find it in the garage tonight when I get home. I know I kept it, just not sure at the moment exactly where it is, but I know where it SHOULD be.
Alternatively, you can take the one plug you do have to Lowes and probably find a replacement plug in brass, install it with some blue locktite (NOT red), and it should hold at least until you either find the other plug or get the HPX connection resolved.

I have the hard line. The plug was sitting on the rubber between the grille and the rad/IC and i didn't hear it hit the ground but I don't see it anywhere it could be. I need to have the truck running again by tonight preferably, but tomorrow at the latest. I can run out and try to get a temporary fix, thats no problem. The worst part is that I am oozing oil all over my nice clean engine compartment. Hopefully pics help

Perfect way to describe it. I just talked to him and walked him through a couple things.
