i have a 2004, 5.4 L, fx4 with 86xxxx miles on it. i installed an edge programmer about a year ago. here recently my transmission has been actin up, when throttle is fully open and trany drops gears it stalls way up then jurks into gear sometimes brakin the tires loose, if it droped into a lower gear. it also has 35 km2's. is the edge programmer the cause of my trany messin up? is there a stronger rebuild kit i can buy to rebuild and beef it up? RF-3L3P-7006 AA, is this my tranny number? i got the number off the side of the housing. please help!

 

I would remove the programmer and see if it continues. You need to rule out things to help you determine the actual cause.
