So who's bringing the PA state flag and pole to the MidAtlantic Meet this year?

I don't have a flag and pole to bring...although if need be I could try and round one up somewhere. Maybe someone else has it already?

Chris - I was just having a sleepless night...wasn't feeling real great with a sinus headache or I'd have been sound asleep as well...lol.

Lat month we were talking about who remembered Molly Hatchet, and I said they were playing at the Gettysburg bike fest July 9th, so I took a few pictures.

It was a great show, they really sounded good.

Bobby Ingram

Dave Hlubeck, original and founding member, I talked with him for about an hour after the show. I have a straocaster that used to belong to him, and he wants to get it back from me, sorry Dave!

Bobby always the hotdog, this was when they were playing Freebird.

It was a great show, and it was the 26th time I have seen them since 1978, a good time was had by all!

Hope you enjoyed, amd maybe bring back some memories for some of you!!

Thanks for the concert pix. I was never huge on Hatchet but it's great to see them rocking on. How many are still "original" band members? I know you mentioned the one founding member...

New subject - my Savage model 93 in .22Mag just got its first kill....

had if for 7 or so years - picked it up with a 4x9 scope and a bull barrel for a steal from someone going under.

only range sighted it to taste.

well today Im in the kitchen which overlooks my backyard and woods and see a hog scurrying under my shed.

later I see him hunkered down picking at some grass, so I grab it, out the front door, crawl below his sight line (slight hump) and come up behind an apple tree slow. I get to one knee, can see his furry hog head under the cross hairs - aim neck, pow. score. for those that care it wasnt a show off shot - perhaps 50-55 yards. the fun was in the stalk!

its always good when the first action shot is a score! it brings luck to the piece.

Nice. The 'hogs are in full force up here on the mountain and I should start getting after them myself. Starting to turn into a pain...

Molly Hatchet Pictures

Yes, they did do Fall Of The Peacemakers, Hluback wrote that in the late 70's. Her is a pic of Bobby doing the intro. I can play the intro and first lead!

Hlubeck is the only original member, as Danny Jo brown (vocals) & Duane Roland (guitar) have passed away with in the past five years.

Hlubeck told me bassist Tim Lindsey was originally the bassist, but Banner Thomas was brough in before they went national. Tim was with Lynyrd Skynyrd for an album in the early 90's.
