AL July chat and BS

Good morning all. How is everybody doing? Anybody miss me? I am back safe and sound from my trip to Ohio to see family and my son before he and his faimly heads to Washington State. It was a pretty good trip. I saw some friends and a lot of family from different parts of the state. A good amount of driving but the Taurus did pretty good. The wife would have been proud of her car. The only really bad thing that happened was that I locked myself out of the car when I was packing to come home. That was a $120 mistake. Last stop was to see my 96 year old aunt. She was really glad to see me. We talked a while and she told me to be careful of unsavory women. She said she had to screen them for me. The kids had done some more cleaning around the house and got rid of more junk. Kert had stopped by and mowed the yard so I would not have to worry about it. Marco killed some yellow jackets that had moved into one of my flower pots on the front porch.

Good Morning,
Glad you had a good trip other than that unexpected $120 you had to spend. LOL. Sounds like you have a very caring family. If you mention yellow jackets to my wife she will scream. She got attacked last year in Gatlinburg while trying to take some pictures. 9-10 stings later she was miserable. So anything that looks like a yellowjacket or sounds like a yellowjacket she drops everything and high tales it out of there. Those things are pretty angry little bugs.

Good morning Alabama and visiting friends. How are y'all doing? I was back at work last night and have to work again tonight. This wet weather is not good for the nursery business. It was rather quiet so we got a lot of needed cleaning done. We got about half of it done and hope to finish it tonight.
Yeah Pete, the kids are doing a great job helping me out. Don't know what I would do without them. And those yellow jackets are everywhere this year. My cousin in Ohio had/has a nest outside their patio and their neice was attacked by them.

Good morning Alabama and David. How is everything going with y'all? Things are getting back to normal around here except for the drawn out process of closing accounts and dealing with the bills from the hospital and doctors. I have SS contacted and have to go see them the 13th. Then that will be done. I did most of the work over the phone.

Good morning all,
Sorry for being absent yesterday. Found out my cousin went into the ER she's been fighting brain cancer for the last 5 years. Now its spread to the parts that controls her motor functions. She's conscious but she can't talk or move much. She has a husband and I can't imagine what he's going through right now.
On a brighter note, I finally was able to scratch out a big project off my list of house work. One step closer to having a presentable house lol.

Good morning AL,
The storm didn't want us to but we made a trip to see her at the hospital last night and it's sad to see her trapped in her own mind. She's aware I know it she'll turn and look at you. The EEG hooked to her brain shows spikes when she sees someone. If you pray, pray for her and our family.
