Welcome to our newest member - 79 Punisher
I want to welcome our newest member to the Northern California chapter of FTE, 79Punisher. He lives in our area and looks forward to meeting other Ford truck fans.
If you get a chance, check out the photo of his great flareside 4X4. It has character and looks like it can handle most anything thrown at it.
Once again, welcome aboard.

hello all, nice to meet other chapter members. I recently hooked up ALL of my stock smog equipment and am looking for catalytic converters for it next. Ive been building this truck for about a year and 7 months now. Ive done quite a bit to it since i purchased it RUNNING for 400 bucks! Im just an average 20 year old who is a true ford man. On a side note i also own a 66 Mustang with other mods thats my daily driver and fast 6 banger! Looking forward to learning new things in this chapter

yeah that would be a big upgrade, if it would fit length wise and height wise It just has the 200 in it now but i have a bad problem with engine knock on it, fixed the problem more then once but i drive it anyway cuz i love it. Its got a header, Flomaster 40, Pertronix Electronic Ignition which gives it great MPG like 21 on a cool afternoon.

Yeah i have allot to learn about these old dentsides. But i hands down love ford trucks! And the 79' i knew it was a diamond in the ruff (you can see all of the previous owners body damage). It was rolled and the front passenger side was twisted up with the bumper, the rear axle housing and left rear axle was bent. All thats fixed now and ive got the smog on this thing straightened out. Thanks to NumberDummy It runs near perfect considering i havent rebuilt the carb yet. Its great to know ppl who have the same loves and interests in these great pieces of Ford history.
