Does anyone know if my 03' head unit has this interface plug as everything I've seen in this thread is newer?

Another P.I.E. installation. Just thought I'd throw out a picture of where I located the stereo jack. Easy installation! Thanks for this thread!! It was very helpful!

JD, wish I could help you with your question, but I don't know the answer. Might check out Crutchfield.com. Or maybe this bump will get someone's attention

The PIE website should steer you to the correct adapter.
I installed one on a 2001 and 2005.

We're open for suggestions, mods, and ideas but there haven't been any recommendations since this.

Ok. I'm looking into installing the interface on my 06 F250 with the premium head unit with the 6CD and AUX features. I found this PIE interface on ebay FRD04-POD/S. I guess the only difference between this one and the FRD04-AUX is that one has a jack style connector and the other an IPOD connector?

Excellent thread , been wanting to install my sat radio but didn't want to have to add an aftermarket radio and loose the buttons on the steering wheel. This thread is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Just purchased a 14" Male RCA to Female 3.5mm and plan on mounting the 3.5mm jack in the dash (at the back of the black holding slot, right of the steering wheel). I wanted to use a small PG gland to lock the AUX jack in place, but no electric supply store near me carries them small enough.

What adhesive/locking mechanism is recommended? A two part epoxy? I don't want the female 3.5mm jack to push through over repeated plugging into it... I'm weary that superglue won't cut it.
