Tim, I am not that up on the 4X4 app, but would think the C6 would need the tail shaft section that fits a transfer case. I'm sure there are others with more knowledge on the issue, and will offer a better suggestion. There may be more than one tail shaft for the 4X4.

Found in 1973/76 F100/250 4WD's with 360's.

The 390 was not offered with 4WD.

Well I got it today for $75.00.Its suppost to only have 10,000 miles on it.It has a Tci torque convertor that stalls 500rpm mopre than stock,And maybe a shift kit.The guy I got it from had it built about 7 years ago.Junked the truck and pulled it.It has been sitting 5 years in his garage.Thats why he wasnt sure about the shift kit.It looks clean and you can tell by the gaskets its been rebuilt. What are the chances its hurt it sitting for 5 years.I have always heard from tranny guys you need to turn them over by hand a few times a year when sitting.I am going to install a new front seal, fluid and filter for good measures. And it does have the extention instead of the tailshaft to bolt to my np205.

Also anyone decode tranny codes?

Thanks,
