manual brake pedal vs power brake pedal
So does it really matter that I put a booster on my 74 f100 & using my old manual brake pedal. I bought a new master cylinder & booster & put the old bracket onto it & mounted it to my firewall. I bolted it to the brake pedal & it all connected fine. What I did find was that the brake switch is about 1/2" too short now. I lengthened it as far as I could & it still is too short to work right. Is this all due to using my old brake pedal with a booster system now or what? Or should I weld a new stop so the switch will work? Or should I go back & see if the old brake pedal is still at the junk yard? Any help appreciated
