223 fuel pump question

I am rebuilding a 223 for my 54. The block is not original and I'm not sure of the year. The head bolts are 7/16" so it's pre 60. I want to order a fuel pump. MACS and NPD show a different pump between 54 (and earlier) and 55-64. How can I determine which one I need?
Thanks
Bob

IIRC the difference in the fuel pumps depends on what type of window wipers the truck has. The vacuum operated wipers required a different fuel pump than the electric ones. The special dual diaphragm fuel pump would keep keep the vacuum wipers operating during low vacuum conditions.
