Well, my opinion (and remember...opinions are like *****...everyone has one!), it is kinda "big". It looks to "clunky". I don't argue the strength part of it though. Just wouldn't see it on my truck!
That is freaking bad ***! I would suggest putting little tip's at the top for added functionality. I've never understood the rounded headache racks, this one looks AWESOME, but a ladder or wood could easily slide off the top of the rack.
Edit: I know from searching that there is not much talk of headache racks on these forums, but I'm enjoying all the headache rack love thats been going on the past few days in the SD forum.
Allow me to respectfully disagree with some of the previous posts. I don't think sturdy is the word for it. The lower cross support actually looks a little bowed due to the weight of the upper structure. Either go larger low or smaller high. I think I would go smaller high so I'm not using so much of my trucks payload for the rack.
Also, you should angle cut the top support just like you did to the angled piece. That will eliminate the gap you have due to the harsher angle and it will add strength since the weight won't be resting entirely on the weld. If you leave it like it is, at least cap it so it won't collect water.
As long as you're using wide (4"?) rec tube steel, cut some holes and put some lights in there.

Food for thought.
its not bowed trust me. its a 2x2 thick wall steel piece on the bottom. and your right it is 4in, and i'm gunna be running led ovals in there. and I filled in the gaps on the inside corners on the top. And surprisingly the rack it self is pretty light
I would use only the 2"x2" material used horizontally having a 3"-3.5" gap between each horizontal bar. It will provide a clean looking and functional headache rack.
