Wiring in a headache rack?
Hey guys,
I recently bought a used Ranch Hand lighted headache rack off of Craigslist. I repainted it and am now ready to wire it in. I've checked all the lights and I know they work but I was wondering if someone could advise me on which wires on the truck do what?
I took the shielding off the chassis wiring and I thought it would be a simple job (green to green, red to red) kind of thing. Tuns out there are multiple greens and reds on my truck. The wiring from the headache rack is standard trailer wiring colors. I was wondering if anyone could help me out by providing a picture or giving any pointers?

So I'm making some progress, but still have some questions.
I wired it up so I got the turn signals to work on the rack. For a second that is. I got the passenger side wired it. It worked fine for the 2-3 seconds I watched. I wired the other side in, tested and it worked for 2-3 second then stopped. Now neither side works.
I pulled the ground wire and sanded down where it meets on the frame, then hit it with some windex to clean it up. Then re-attached. Still same thing.
Any ideas?

I don't see many threads of people hooking this stuff up but just in case it will help on a 2004 V10 I can tell you the wires are as follows:
Black w/ Pink stripe = Reverse Lights
Yellow = Passenger Turn/Brake
Green = Driver Turn/Brake
Brown w/ white stripe = running lights
