1994 5.8 engine bearly runs dies, wont idle

New here found this place looking for answers on this problem. very nice but I cant find any other posts that have the same problem I have.

1994 F-250 200,000 miles driving down the interstate it almost dies, can still drive it with no power at about 2-5 mph no backfire, just heavy engine shake and no power.

Get it back home, replace fuel filter, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, TPS, ICM, Presure check at 37 psi, even pulled a rail to see the injector worked just fine. Pulled the distrubuter lined up with TDC. No improvement. It pointed to #1 so I think my timing chain is ok.

so I think PCM now? also checked battery capacity ok

not sure if this is similiar to your problem, but a few times intermittntly i would be driving along fine and the truck would just die. start it back up and it was fine. later on i'd stop at a light and when i would take off again there was no power and the engine was shaking terribly. It would only go like 2 mph. it would clear up shortly. but after dieing and not starting for 15 min, i checked the codes and got a p0320. in my case from reading the forums and asking questions, it could either be the tfi module or the pickup coil in the dist. havent gotten to work on it yet, but that might lead you in the right direction. Did you check the computer for codes?
My truck is a 1996 f-250--460 e4od.
