Swapping a newer syncro 4 speed in a 1950 Ford v8 grain truck
I would like to get rid of the non syncro 4 speed in my 1950 Ford grain truck with flat head V8. It is a heavy duty trans which I hate using with the non syncros. I am new to Fords...Is there a newer 4 speed that will be a perfect swap..say from a late 50s model that would have syncros? Would you have one? Thank you, Kurt in Durand, IL
