gauges - black face or white face?
I can't decide on white face or black face gauges and what color back light. Does anyone have picts of their pods with black face and white face gauges? Any at night with the back light on? I like the looks of the white, gives it a more sportier look, but the black ones may blend in better and be less of a distraction when driving.
Still not sure on if I want isspro or autometer, both seem good. The isspro ev2 would be nice because of less wiring but I was hoping to keep the price around $300, $400 is what I was quoted yesterday.
Any help appreciated.

I have auto meter white face gauages in my 97
and diprocol black face in my dads 04.
Honestly the Diprocol gauges look great and are soooo much cleaner and better than the autometers. I like the black and now that my pyro is sticking after 4 years i might order a set of black diprocols.
The lighting in the autometers is cheezy with the "around the dial" light. The led "throught the dial" diprocols is very clear and looks exactly like the gauges on the truck

yes the sport comp gauges look good at night. the reason i got the z's was price. they were a package deal from rpm outlet. 3 pod pillar with gauges for 229.00 just watch buying from them. a few guys as had problems as well as me. (customer service was the downfall.) i would pick another supplier if i had to do it again.

I tried calling summit on tuesday but my call got dropped. I need to try them agian. I am kind of leaning toward RiffRaff diesel and the Isspro EV series but need to make a few more calls and look at the auto meter sport comps. I think I will go with the black face style.
Groundpounder0331, where did you get yours and what was the price? Thanks.

Sorry about my delayed response. Just spend the weekend taking of my tubo pededastal to completely remove the EBPV cyclinder .
I purchased my gauges from Tymar performance. The package consisted of gauges, A-pillar pod, and install kit. The kit contains everything you need to install, i.e., spade and butt connectors, fuse taps, MAP line T with copper tubing etc. I'm at work now and can't remember the total price. I believe everthing I mentioned above was under $400.00. You may want to paint the A-Pillar pod if you don't have a black interior. I used some good spray paint for vinyl/plastic and it turned out well. I'll try to find the total price tonight when I get home. You can also call Dale (owner Tymar Performance) at 509-922-8785.

OK... I got the receipt in my hot little hands....
Auto Meter Sport Comp II gauges: 292.71 (Boost, Trans, Pyro)
A-Pillar 3 gauge: 47.75
Gauge Install kit: 25.99
Price: 366.45
Tax: $31.14
Total= $397.
You may be able to find them cheaper elsewhere but working with Tymar has been a good experience.

Thanks groundpounder, no problem on the delayed response. I went with Clay at Riff Raff Diesel. It was a toss up between him or Diesel Manor, it was $335 for isspro ev1 3 gauges with pod and everything but the T for the map line. I almost feel I should of gone with diesel manor because they are only about 100 miles from me and they said they include instructions which would be real nice. Hopefully I get them before this weekend.
