Holley 1904 Carburetor Bowls - A "new" metal bowl (NOS is probably the term) and an epoxy fixed glass bowl that will be soaked in fuel to see how it holds up.

Note that the metal bowl is attached with stainless steel hardware to prevent threading/stripping the holes. It may be against restoration rules, but I don't want to ruin the whole thing an extra twist of the wrist. Also, I have determined that it is a good idea to use a tap to clean the bowl screw holes because tough gunk can stop the screw and *start* to wreck the threads.

Pictures of the Holley 1904 Carburetor with both glass and metal bowls:

There are no before pictures, but most of you can probably imagine why this looks "great" to me.

Thanks. (Next I have to learn about fuel, ignition and what to do next with the engine.)

More float bowls found !!

Look up part number 9559a @ Tee-Bird Products Inc. - 1954 1955 1956 1957 Thunderbird Parts - 1954 1955 1956 Ford Car Parts. They are $13.50 each and the parts guy said he had "20 or so".

FYI: He does not have the hold-down parts... I asked.

You listed different glass bowls, I wonder if one of them has the large HOLLEY across it instead of the smaller logo? Someone here posted a picture of one.

That someone was me. I'd love to find another bowl like this one to replace the two that I have now.
