Trying to swap HD f250 extended cab front end onto my truck

Hello, I have a 1979 F250 regular cab 2wd with a 7700lb GVW, the previous owner for some strange reason swapped the entire suspension over to a 1/2 ton.

I have since returned the rear to 3/4 ton using a F250 extended cab with the 8100lb GVW (manufactured July 79) as a donor. I am wanting to use this same donor truck to swap the front over.

My question is whether the pivot bushings on the I-beam and the Radius bushings are the same on all 3/4 tons and 1/2 tons of that year? Will the tie rod / drag link presently on the 1/2 ton match up with the 3/4 ton front end?

Is their anything else that I am missing that would prevent me from using this HD 3/4 ton front end??

Are you sure you have a F250? Does your vin # start like F26 or F25? Seems like it would be a lot of work to swap in 1/2 ton suspension for no reason. Only reason I ask is I got a highboy (true highboy) But the body and title were for a 1978 F150 .

Yes, I am 100% sure that this truck was originally a F250. It belonged to my friends dad and I was around during the time he swapped in the 1/2 ton suspension. He said he was doing it for a softer ride. In fact when I changed the rear back to 3/4 ton I had to cut off the plates he welded to the spring hangers that were used to accommodate the smaller diameter bolts used on the 1/2 ton spring eyes.

My trucks VIN F25JCEEXXXX

Donor truck VIN X25JKFEXXXX

I'll be the increased GVW comes from the rear and heavier front springs. The difference in capacities is only 400 lbs.250's usually come with a dana 60 rear but I'll bet the donor truck has a Dana 70.Is the donor truck a camper or trailer special? As far as the front goes I have done many swaps on F350's (i used to build wreckers and we used to piece them together when parts were plentiful)and have never had a front I beam that didn't fit.The guy who would know for sure is this guy numberdummy. He will decode the vins tell you all the changes, when they happened, what color shirt the guy who was installing radios on the assembly line was wearing and if his wife was cheating on himI would wait for him or maybe even write another post asking him specifically.
