I would at least do a compression test to make sure the motor is in good 'health'. Finding a complete kit is probably going to be your biggest challenge being that there are no kits available for the year/model of the truck you have. However, if you do stumble upon one that is complete, it should have everything you need to install and run it. The only other thing that you would probabably need to buy is a set of spark plugs that are one heat range colder than stock.
Otherwise, you could make your own plumbing with some aluminized exhausting tubing (straights and 90's), silicone couplers, band clamps and some welding would be needed to plumb in the bypass valve. From there you'd have to find someone to make a mounting bracket for the blower if you are unable to find one.
If you don't have access to aftermarket tuning, then you will need a Boost-Timimg Retard to control the timing advance under boost. You'll also need an FMU and an inline fuel pump with a 30amp automotive relay and Hobbs pressure switch, this will help increase the fuel pressure and flow when under boost.

As far as the blowers go, I tend to lean towards Vortech. I had an S-Trim for 10+ years now and I know others that have had them longer. Paxton (NOVI Series) are fine and reliable units as well.

I'm working on a bolt on blower setup right now. It will use a m112 eaton. It will be going on my 90 F150, but the engines are pretty much the same. You have the next gen alternator and accessory brackets, but all similar. My setup would work fine.
What's your budget?

Personally I'd do a turbo. The exhaust needs to be redone anyway, and supercharger kits are hard to find. With a turbo, you can kill 2 birds with one stone. Upgrade exhaust and add boost.

I have a project in the shop right now, and a couple quick ones behind it, but I can build you a turbo kit if you are interested.
Send me a private message if you'd like to talk. Or email me UNTAMND@gmail.com

I would suggest upgraded fuel pumps, 1-2 steps colder plugs depending on where you live, quarterhorse tuning software and chip, or a sct chip at your local Dyno shop.
An fmu with stock injectors and an msd6btm is the minimum requirement though. But at the price of the msd box, you're close to buying quarterhorse to tune engine and trans. Up to you.
