OK, good feedback & to hear your marble noise seems to be gone.
Hard to tell just what was causing it, but seeing as how it wasn't noisy when you checked it out the first time, but was noisy when you picked it up & the owner had just changed the oil & filter, I suspect his oil change sequence caused it.
BUT, seeing as how it has over 100K miles on it, a good decarbon treatment sure won't hurt it!!!!
Go ahead & use the Techron before filling up on this next tank & continue the spirited driving while running most of this next Techron treated tank out.
When you change the oil next, use the change sequence & oil filter pre-fill & engine prime/purge technique I posted & let us know how it goes.

OK, good feedback & to hear you didn't have any start up noise after your oil & filter change.
The first time I changed the oil & filter on my then new 99 pushrod 4.0L, I had awful marbling about 30 seconds after the start up, scared me to death & it took about 4 days for it to stop.
I thought I had screwed up my oil change & omitted a couple of qts of oil.
Took a few more changes to work out the filter preill & drain & refill sequence of disabling the fuel pump so the engine wouldn't start, then to crank it over to purge the remaining air out of the oiling system & to bild pressure in the system routine, but it still works for me too & I do it every time after every oil change!!!!
